This module allows merchants to automatically offer free gifts when a customer meets specific cart-based conditions. The system evaluates the cart in real time and adds the eligible gift product(s) without manual selection.

Setup Instructions
Before setting up the rule, ensure the gift product exists in your catalog.
Create gift-only category

Go to Dashboard > Products > Classification > Category

Name it clearly
(e.g. “GWP Gifts” or “Auto-Gift Items”) -
Save the category
Create a $0 Gift Item

Go to Dashboard > Products > Create Product

Set Product Name
(e.g. “Free Travel Pouch”) -
Tag it under this newly created category.

Set Price to 0.00
-
Assign a product image, SKU, and inventory

Mark it as unpublished (schedule publish on the same date/time GWP is launch)

Save the product
Configure GWP Rules

Go to Dashboard > Marketing > Gift with Purchase (Auto)

Enable the checkbox Enable Gift With Purchase to activate the GWP

You may schedule the GWP by setting the Schedule Start Date and End Date

Define qualification either by
Minimum Cart Amount (e.g. SGD 168.00), or
Minimum Cart Qty
Only one condition should be filled -
Limit product eligibility (optional)

Use Only products from the following categories/collections will be included... to count only selected product(s) toward the cart total (e.g. “CNY 2025”)

Use Products from following categories/collections will not be included... to exclude certain products

Under Free Product, select the gift item (e.g. “Free Travel Pouch”)

Customize messaging:

Add Message at Order Review Page: shown when the gift is added
Example: Your complimentary items have been added to your bag. -
Remove Message atOrder Review Page: shown when the gift is removed<
Example: Your complimentary items have been removed from your bag. -
Check the option to Enable Auto Add To Cart At POS Terminal if you allow retails customer to redeem.

Save the rule
Once saved, the gift will be automatically added to the customer’s cart if the rule conditions are met.
You can configure up to 5 rules. If multiple rules apply, the system will evaluate them in the order listed.
Remarks:
- Gift cards will not be counted toward Minimum Cart Amount.
- Minimum Cart Amount is based on net order value after applying discounts, reward points, store credits and gift credits. Shipping fees are excluded.
- The gift will be automatically added to the cart when the conditions are met and stock is available.
- If the gift inventory reaches zero, the rule will no longer apply and the gift will not be added.
