Order Fulfilment: Manage packages with SingPost

With the SingPost API integration, you can seamlessly create and manage shipments directly from your Shopcada dashboard.

Setup Instructions

Install the SingPost API Module

  • Navigate to Dashboard > App Store

  • Search for the SingPost API module and click Install

Configure SingPost API Integration in Shopcada

  • Navigate to Dashboard > Settings > Orders > Carriers Settings.

  • Select SingPost and click Configure.

  • Fill in the following details for SingPost API Setting:

    • Account Number

    • API Key

    • Ticket

    • Tracking Authorization Key

  • Fill in the following details for Shipment Details:

    • Service Carrier Code

    • Default Service Code

    • Nature of Goods

    • Default Collection Time

    • Default Delivery Instruction

    • [Optional] Include checkout comment as delivery instruction

  • Fill in the following details for Sender Information and Package Details.

  • Click Save to apply the settings.

 

Please approach SingPost for the required details.

Set Up Shipment Notifications

  • Navigate to Dashboard > Settings > Emails > Email List.

  • Under Order Fulfilment, enable the following notifications:

    • Shipment Notification - SingPost - At Shipper: Sent when SingPost picks up the parcel from your warehouse.

    • Shipment Notification - SingPost - Shipped: Sent when SingPost delivers the parcel to the customer.

  • You can include tracking information in these emails using the token [package-tracking-number].


Managing Shipments

Create Package for Individual Order

 

  • Navigate to Dashboard > Orders > Fulfil Orders.

  • Apply filters to locate the desired order.

  • Select the items to be shipped.

  • Choose SingPost from the Carrier list.

  • Select the Service Code, Shipment Collection Date, Shipment Collection Time, and Delivery Instruction.

  • Click Create Package. The shipment will be created automatically in the SingPost portal.

  • Customers will receive notifications as the parcel progresses through the delivery process.

Create Packages in Batch

 

  • Navigate to Dashboard > Orders > Fulfil Orders.

  • Click on the vertical ellipsis    and select Batch Create Packages.

  • Process your packages as usual.

  • At Step 3: Select Carrier, choose SingPost from the list.

  • Enter the Shipment Collection Date, Shipment Collection Time and Delivery Instruction.

  • Click Create Package. Shipments will be created automatically in the SingPost portal.

  • Customers will be notified as their parcels are processed and delivered.


Cancel SingPost Packages

 

  • If you need to cancel a package, you can do so directly in Shopcada. The cancellation will be reflected in the SingPost portal.
