Points Award Setup
- Point System Start Date
Set the start date to activate point rewards.
Points will only be issued for orders checked out on or after this date. - Points Award Calculation Type
- Simple:
Award points at a fixed rate (e.g. X points for every $Y spent). - By Membership Tier:
Set different point rates based on customer membership tiers.

Special Rules: Birthday Month Bonus (Optional)
Apply a different points rule for purchases made during a customer’s birthday month.
Enable this option and configure the rules using either Simple or Membership Tier mode.
Points Calculation Rules
- Eligible Spend Amount
Points are calculated based on the net spend after discounts, gift certificates, store credits, and point rebates.
Tax and shipping charges are excluded. - Exclude Products (Optional)
Exclude specific products, categories, or collections from earning points.
Issuance & Controls
- Points Issuance Timing
Choose the order status at which points are awarded.
Points will be deducted if the order is cancelled later.
Points will be only given once even if you choose multiple statuses - Exclude Customer Groups (Optional)
Select customer groups that should not earn points. - Rounding Rule
Choose how points are rounded (up or down to the nearest dollar).
Points Redeem Mode
- Simple
Redeem points at a fixed rate.
The system will automatically calculate all eligible redemption options based on the customer’s available points and cart value
Example: Every X points = $Y credit. - Repeating Tiered
Redeem points based on tiers, with increasing value at higher tiers.
The system will automatically calculate all eligible redemption options based on the customer’s available points and cart value.
Example: 100 points = $10, 150 points = $20. - Exact Tiered
Similar to Repeating Tiered, but only the predefined tiers are available for selection.
Customers can only redeem based on the exact tiers you set.
Redemption Conditions
- Minimum Purchase Amount
Set a minimum order value required before points can be redeemed. - Exclude Products (Optional)
Prevent specific categories or collections and/or Product Kits from being eligible for point redemption. - Maximum Redemption Percentage
Limit how much of the order total can be paid using points.
Example: 100% allows full payment using points. - Maximum Redemption Amount
Set a cap on how much value can be redeemed per order.
Leave blank for no limit.
Restrictions & Controls
- User Restrictions (Optional)
Disable point redemption if the customer are fall under selected user group. - Products Restrictions (Optional)
List the categories or collections of products are not eligible for point redemption.
These products' value will be excluded from the point redemption value calculation. - Product Kit Restrictions (Optional)
Enable if product kits are not eligible for point redemption.
The product kits' value will be excluded from the point redemption value calculation - Cart-Based Restrictions (Optional)
Disable point redemption if the cart contains products from selected categories or collections. - Limitation to use point to purchase Gift Cert
Disable to prevent customers from using points to to purchase Gift Certificate - Discount Usage Rule
Prevent customers from using points together with discounts.
Optionally, allow specific discounts to be used alongside points.
Refund Option
- Follow Selected Refund Method
Refund will follow the original refund method selected during the refund process. - Reward Points
Refund the used points back to the customer’s account. - Forfeit Points Paid
Points used in the order will not be returned to the customer.
Important Notes
This setting applies only to the points portion of the payment
Refund behavior for other payment methods (e.g. cash, card) will follow standard refund settings
Ensure the selected option aligns with your store’s refund and loyalty policy
Expiration Settings
- Expire Points After
Set the validity period (in days) for points after they are earned.
Example: 365 days = points expire 1 year after issuance - End-of-Month Expiry (Optional)
If enabled, all points will expire at the end of the month, regardless of the exact date they were earned.
Example: Points earned on 10 Jan will expire on 31 Jan (based on expiry month). - Important Notes
Expiry applies only after points are issued to the customer

Sign-Up Bonus
- Reward new customers upon successful account registration.
- Enable Sign-Up Bonus
Turn on to award points to newly registered members. - Points to Award
Set the number of points given upon sign-up.
Referee Welcome Points
- Reward customers who sign up using a refer a friend link.
- Enable Welcome Bonus for Referrals
Turn on to award points to new members who join via a referral. - Points to Award

- Reward customers who successfully invite friends to make a purchase.

Award a fixed number of points once the referred friend meets the minimum order amount.
Example: Award 100 points when the friend spends at least $50. - Multiply points with Invitee Order Total with minimum order value thresholds
Award points based on the referred friend’s order value. Points will be calculated by multiplying the configured points rate with the order amount.
Example: 1 point per $1 spent → $100 order = 100 points awarded.

How It Works
- The email is sent automatically on the first day of every month
- Only customers with available (positive) points balance will receive the email
How to Enable
- Go to Manage Your Store (Dashboard) > Settings > Marketing > Reward Points
- Locate Rewards Points Monthly Summary
- Click Edit to configure the email content
- Enable the notification
- Click Save Configuration
Email Configuration
- Customize the email content using available replacement variables (tokens)
- Refer to Replacement Variables for Email for the full list of supported tokens
Unsubscribe Option (Optional)
- To allow customers to unsubscribe from this email, include the following token in your email template:

How to Configure
- Go to Manage Your Store (Dashboard) > Customers
- Search and open the customer record
- Click Edit
- Under the Notifications section
Uncheck Receive monthly credits summary - Click Save
Customer Self-Management (Optional)
Customers can also manage this setting themselves via their account page:
- Navigate to My Account > Edit Account
- Uncheck Receive Monthly Balance Summary Emails
- Save changes
Unsubscribe Option from email
- To allow customers to unsubscribe from this email, include the following token in your email template:

Disabled customers will no longer receive all monthly summary emails, even if the global setting is enabled
