This guide explains how to configure selected user groups to access products as if they belong to a specific membership tier. This allows non-members to temporarily view products under the same rules as a membership tier, such as during a promotional event.
Overview
This feature lets you specify a user group that can access products like a particular tier member, without requiring them to actually belong to that tier.
Use case example: A campaign user group can view and purchase early access products the same way as Tier 3 members.
Configuration
- Go to Setting > Users > Membership Pro > [Tier Name]
- Scroll to the fieldset titled Early Access.
- Use the select field: "Also allow the selected user group to access the products together with this membership tier"
- Select the desired user group (e.g. Special Early Access)
How to create user group? - Save the changes
This will allow the selected user group to behave like a member of the specified tier when browsing or checking out eligible products.
